Dr Chang See Seong
Anaesthesiology
Dr Chang See Seong is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Melbourne and completed his Anaesthesiology and Surgical Intensive Care training in various Ministry of Health Institutions in Singapore. Prior to private practice, Dr Chang was a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist at Changi General Hospital. During his time in public practice, he was heavily involved in the mentoring of medical students and trainee doctors. He was a clinical faculty at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, an adjunct instructor at DUKE-NUS medical school and a core faculty member of the Singhealth Residency Anaesthesiology Programme. In 2019, he was awarded the “Outstanding Faculty Award” for his commitment and contribution to training of new Anaesthesiologists. Dr Chang’s other special interests include the use ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia to manage peri-operative pain for greater patient safety, experience and comfort. He has been invited as a lecturer and faculty at regional anaesthesia workshops locally and overseas. Dr Chang continues to support the public sector as a Visiting Consultant Anaesthesiologist in National University Hospital and Singapore National Eye Centre. He is conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew and Malay.
